Electromagnetic flowmeter is a kind of high precision, high reliability and long service life of flow meter.Is the current body should not contain more ferromagnetic substance or bubbles, should according to the measurement of body temperature, pressure, corrosion and wear characteristics choose corresponding pressure levels, lining materials, electrode materials and instrument structure.
Summary
The electromagnetic flowmeter is composed of two parts by electromagnetic flow sensor and electromagnetic flow converter.The operation of an electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday law of electromagnetic induction.The mainly parts of the sensor are: measuring tube,electrode poles,excitation coil,iron core,yoke and housing. The measuring tube of the sensor is a short alloy tube whose diameter is D, the inner surface of it has an insulating liner.Two electrodes are fixed in the measuring tube along with the diameter direction of it and they usually flush with the inner surface liner.When excitation coil pulsed by two-way square wave,there generates a working magnetic field with a flux density B in the vertical direction of the measurement axis.In the meantime,if some electrical conductivity liquid flows at an average velocity V through the measuring tube ,cuts lines of the magnetic field,there generates induced electromotive force E.Electromotive force E is directly proportional to the product of flux density B、measuring tube diameter D and average velocity V,that's: E BVD. Electromotive force E(flow signal) is measured by the electrodes and transmitted to transducer through cable.After the transducer handles the flow signal by magnifying it, the flow and total amount can be displayed,also will output pulse and analog current etc.

Remove electrode fouling of electromagnetic flowmeter
After long-term use of electromagnetic flowmeter can produce smudgy electrode scaling, this will not only reduce the measuring accuracy will also damage the instrument, as a result, if it is found that the dirt on the electrode is, we need to clean up in time so as to ensure the accuracy of measurement.
Clean the electrode method generally includes the following:
1.Electrochemical method.
2. Mechanical QingChuFa.That is on the electrode to install special machinery to remove.There are two forms, namely mechanical shaving machine, its performance is stable, easy to operate.The other is in a tubular electrode, mount away dirt with the steel wire brush, this method need to pull the steel wire brush to clean the electrode, so the operation is not very convenient.
3. The ultrasonic cleaning method.Mainly is to make the ultrasonic energy is focused on the electrode contact surface with the media, dirt will break in order to achieve the purpose of cleaning.
4. Electric shock tees, it is using ac high voltage to the electrodes and the medium between regularly, attachments to breakdown, will then be flow away.
